in the past 2+ years we have experienced unprecedented levels of individual & collective fear, OVERWHELM, stress, ANXIETY & trauma. and it is taking a huge toll on our Mental, emotional & Physical health.

Even as things slowly return to "normal", I am still seeing THE dYs-regulation of our nervous systems play out in the health and lives of people around me every day.

Hi, I'm Kristi!

As a Functional Wellness Coach, I’m on a mission to help women achieve Vibrant Wellness — body, mind and spirit. There was a time in my life when I was stressed to the max & I struggled with generalized anxiety every single day. I called it “chest crushing anxiety” and I thought it was just the way it was. I had no idea there was anything I could do about it. When I finally realized just how much this was harming my health & my relationships & sucking the joy right out of life, I decided I didn’t want to live that way anymore. So I spent several years doing a ton of research and digging into my own relationship with stress. I learned some amazing things that completely changed how I think about stress and some amazing tools that help me keep my inner peace and radiate joy–even in the midst of a global pandemic, political and economic uncertainty and all of the stressors of daily life as a mom of 4, wife, friend, coach and business owner. Zen is a practice.

No one is naturally calm & cool all the time. But the amazing thing is--
we get to choose how we want to feel. we get to choose what we allow into our energy field. We get to choose how we experience life.

we get to choose whether we live in a state of "fight, flight, fear and fatigue" or a state of "rest, digest, peace, joy & Vibrant wellness".

We get to choose whether we merely survive or whether we thrive and love every moment of life.

Amy is a busy, more than full-time business executive, as well as a wife, mom of three and active volunteer in her church and community. She first came to me to work on reversing Ulcerative Colitis, regulating her thyroid after a Graves diagnosis and she wanted to reduce her risk developing yet another autoimmune disease. She was trying to eat right and exercise but was still exhausted, stressed and struggling with her health. Here's what you'll learn and how you'll grow during these 4 weeks

Week 1

The science of stress, Adrenal “FatigUE” and nervous system dis-regulation + What if Stress Really Isn’t So Terrible for You?

“Wait, what? You just finished telling us how terrible stress is for us!” True. I did. But what usually comes next is “You HAVE to reduce your stress or else!” What if I told you that the most important thing to our health isn’t eliminating or reducing or managing stress, but changing how we perceive the stressors in our lives?  When you change how you perceive the stress around you, you change your physiological response to that stress from something harmful to something that actually serves and supports your mental, emotional physical and spiritual wellness. And that, my friends, is magical!

Week 2

sELF-IMPOSED STRESSORS — We Do so much of it to ourselves

I know life is stressful. You’ve probably already handled more in one lifetime than any person should have to handle. And then enter a global pandemic. But it’s still true. A lot of our stress is self-imposed. We do it to ourselves! The amazing this is YOU can change those things!! By taking responsibility and becoming empowered to change … not the people or circumstances around you … but YOU and how YOU respond to those people and circumstances, YOU have the power to bring balance to your own nervous system and go from a state of “fight, flight, freeze and fatigue” to a state where your body can “rest, digest and heal.”

 

Week 3

THE 4 R’s of STRESS

This is where you take the mindset changes, tools and strategies we learn in weeks one & two and apply them in every area of your life, using my unique “4 R’s” approach. This is so much more than stress reduction or management. It’s about changing your stress perception, so no matter what is going on around you, you have peace & joy in your own personal bubble of zen. And no, this doesn’t mean checking out or ignoring the challenges around you. I don’t believe in fake positivity and high vibes at the expense of truth and reality. It’s about stepping into the fully empowered, joy-filled human you were meant to be and carrying your zen with you AS you engage in the often stressful, chaotic world around you

Week 4

Stress Resilience + Daily practices, Food Choices, Herbs, Supplements & Essential Oils to support a healthy Stress response

This week we’ll turn our focus to stress resilience– growing the size of your stress bucket so it can hold even more stress and you can handle it all with grace and joy and without losing a minute of sleep. We’ll talk about how to regulate your nervous system through TRUE self-care (I look at self-care a little differently than most people). I’ll share my favorite daily practices, rituals, tips and tricks to help you reduce and relieve stress. And we’ll talk about the best food choices, herbs, supplements and essential oils to support the body, mind & spirit during times of stress.
